Petřín Lookout Tower
The Petřín Lookout Tower (in Czech: Petřínská rozhledna) is 63,5 metres tall steel tower inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It has got 299 steps and there is a really amazing panoramatic view from its top. The tower was built in 1891.
The Petřín Lookout Tower stands at the top of the Petřín Hill, known as the place of lovers. It is possible to get there by the funicular or to climb up the Petřín Hill through narrow walkways and paths.
Next to the Petřínská Lookout Tower there is a small, but nice mirror maze. Near the top station of the funicular there is situated Štefánik´s Observatory with a modern permanent astronomical exhibition.
